INCLUSIVE EMPLOYMENT

Graduate Support Services

IPSESA offers an Inclusive Employment program through our Graduate Support Services (GSS) program. The GSS program supports clients for a maximum of five years, but clients are able to leave our services earlier if they have developed the skills to succeed independently in the workplace.

In the GSS program, clients learn how to apply for jobs, participate in interviews, and build up their resume through gaining work experience. Our Employment Facilitators work behind the scenes and directly with the clients to find job opportunities and provide training and onboarding support at new jobs.

Our Employment Facilitators support with all stages of employment, from employment preparation, to job searching, to supporting on the job site. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

Our Support Model

We follow a phase-out support model, with the goal of building greater client independence in the workplace.

This means that we support a client less over time as they gain skills, confidence, and independence.

The goal is to promote long-term success and natural workplace inclusion.

1

Facilitators support clients on the job site during training and collaborate closely with employers

2

Facilitators gradually fade out their support as the client becomes more confident and independent in their job

3

Facilitators continue to have regular check-ins with employers and clients to ensure continued success and to help address any problems that may arise
