RESOURCES FOR INSTRUCTORS
What is Inclusive Education?
Inclusive education is about creating opportunities for meaningful participation for all students, inside and outside of the classroom. Inclusive education supports the growth of diverse learners, regardless of ability.
At IPSESA, we invite individuals with disabilities into the post-secondary community and provide opportunities for educational development, skill building, and community integration.

Inclusive Instructors
As an inclusive instructor, you can decide your level of involvement with IPSE students. The support you provide to an IPSE student would be similar to what you offer all students. This may include grading assignments and exams, meeting with IPSE students during office hours, and offering general academic guidance. While not all IPSE students will engage fully in every class activity, those who do greatly value the additional support and benefit from the meaningful experience it provides. You'll be helping foster a dynamic, inclusive classroom environment that enriches the learning experience for all students.
The student’s Facilitator is also always available for you to ask questions, voice any concerns, and receive guidance in inclusive teaching strategies.
